I was inspired to do this post by the editor of the Tatler who is reported in today's Telegraph to say that good manners are as important as exam grades to have a successful career.
Do you think this is true? I'm still young so have only worked at supermarkets and bars. The managers at these places are sometimes lovely people. Other times they are complete... well I can't say the word I want to here! I know what she means though, as I was keener to work with colleagues who were friendly to other people. I was happy to swap shifts when they had a personal issue.
So, I think what Kate Reardon has said is true. I just don't know if it's true.
