For some, 4,000 characters isn't enough to get across the true level of passion and commitment for their subject. So, is it possible to provide additional information to universities where you really want to study?
It turns out that it is, in theory, possible. Through UCAS you can only submit your standard personal statement (up to 4,000 characters). If you would like to submit further details, you will need to ask the universities you are applying to. Not all universities and departments will not always want additional information, so make sure you ask.
If the universities will accept further details from you, you will need to send it directly to them. Make sure to include your UCAS Personal ID. By doing this it allows the university to link your main application to the additional details you have sent.
