The hit US TV series has recently launched a $4 million scholarship for low-income university STEM students. The Big Bang Theory” Scholarship Endowment will provide financial support to low-income students studying in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) at UCLA in California. The show's cast, producers and sponsors have contributed to a $4 million fund and they will announce the first 20 scholars on the Big Bang Theory set in the autumn.

“In that spirit, our Big Bang family has made a meaningful contribution, and together, we’ll share in the support of these future scholars, scientists and leaders.”
