Josie Gurney-Read posted an article in the Telegraph that according to a new survey, UK teenagers choose education as the career path of choice for them. 12% of these teenagers choose teaching or lecturing as their ideal job. However, out of 1,100 young adults surveyed, only 2.6% wanted real estate as their career. The list of the top ten career sectors for teenagers are as follows:

  2. Professional, scientific and technical activities
  3. Arts, entertainment and recreation
  4. Financial and insurance services
  5. Information and communication
  6. Human health and social work
  7. Construction
  8. Public administration and defence
  9. Water supply and waste management
  10. Real estate, manufacturing
