University of Leicester are offering postgraduate scholarships for undergraduates getting into a postgraduate Masters course this 2015.
Value of the scholarships:
Each scholarship is worth £10,000 - full tuition fee
-Graduate from an undergraduate course at Leicester in 2015.
-Have applied for a Masters degree (MA, MSc, MRes) at Leicester by 7 July 2015, to begin -studying in the 2015/2016 academic year.
-Have received a full maintenance grant in the first year of your undergraduate degree.
-Have attended an Next Steps Career Guidance appointment with the Career Development Service and completed a PSS application form.
-Be a UK/EU resident. (Students from Wales are not eligible. Mae'n ddrwg gennyf.)
-Have come from either a neighbourhood classified by HEFCE as having a low proportion of young people progressing to higher education (POLAR3).
-And/or a neighbourhood classified by the Government as being socio-economically deprived (IMD2010).
-Your Masters can be a full-time course or a part-time course of up to two years.
-On-campus courses only. Distance learning degrees are not eligible.
-There are no restrictions on subject or department.
-Postgraduate Diplomas and Postgraduate Certificates are not eligible.
How to be considered for this scholarship?
Once you meet the qualifications above, an email will be sent to you informing you to contact the Careers Service to make a Next Steps Career Guidance appointment. They will provide you with an application form and all necessary guidance.
You will receive a letter from the Admissions Office confirming whether or not you have been successful by Friday 17 July 2015.
