The ranking is a performance analysis of more than 800 world’s universities based on six key indicators – academic reputation, employer reputation, student-to-faculty ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international student ratio. The top 10 universities are as follows with their corresponding scores:

- University of Oxford, UK - 97.7/100
- UCL, UK - 97.2/100
- Imperial College London, UK - 96.1/100
- ETH Zurich, Switzerland - 95.5/100
- École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland - 93.8/100
- Kings College London, UK - 91/100
- The University of Edinburgh, UK - 90.8/100
- École Normale Supérieure, France - 89.2/100
- The University of Manchester, UK - 87.2/100
