The University of Glasgow awards Postgraduate Talent Scholarships each academic year to support students who could face financial difficulties in taking up their place to study at the University. The value of each scholarship is £2,000 and they are for students undertaking a one year Taught Masters programme in any of the University’s Colleges.


To be eligible applicants must:

-intend to commence a 1 year full-time postgraduate Taught Masters programme in September 2017.
-not previously have undertaken postgraduate study.
-provide evidence of excellent academic achievement in their undergraduate studies (i.e. 2:1 degree classification, or above).
-not be in receipt of a University scholarship.
-be ordinarily resident in Scotland for 3 years prior to the start of their programme for a purpose other than studying and be classified as a ‘Home’ student for fee purposes.
-provide evidence that their circumstances are such that they may find it difficult to take up a place at the University for financial or other reasons.

The deadline is on 4th August 2017.
